For New Wood Projects

When using our Conditioning Oil for new wood projects, be sure to sand at 320 to 600 first, raise the grain with water, perform final sand, and then apply oil.

How to Maintain or Restore a Board

Clean the item with light soap and lukewarm water, and then let it dry standing up. If there are deep knife cuts or if any mold is visible, sanding the board down will be necessary. After that, apply our oil directly to the surface, spread it with a rag until coated on all sides, let it dry for 12 - 24 hours, and wipe away the excess with a clean rag. For full protection, follow it up with a layer of our original Finishing Wax.

Using with Another Company's Products

Our Conditioning Oil can be used alongside most other oil-based finishes or epoxy and resins, such as when making a "river board" or when using wood pieces that have had cracks and holes filled with epoxy.
